Dr. Schulhafer is board certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He graduated from Rutgers University and New Jersey Medical School. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Overlook Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University Medical Center, and a fellowship in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at Long Island College Hospital. He has been in clinical practice in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties since 1988. Our practice, the Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center, has long treated asthma, hayfever, rashes, contact dermatitis, hives, sinus problems, food and cosmetic allergies, eczema and migraine headaches.
Since 2002, Dr. Schulhafer has received training in comprehensive skin care techniques including microdermabrasion, lasers and intense pulse light for hair removal and skin rejuvenation, facials and peels, Botox®, fillers such as Restylane, and Radiance. We treat photodamaged skin, acne, fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea, melasma, expression lines, oily skin, dry skin, freckles, actinic keratoses, telangiectasias (red lines on the face), age spots and leg veins (varicose veins).
Dr. Schulhafer is experienced with various lasers and Intense Pulse Light equipment such as Lumenis, Sciton, Syneron, Palomar and Altus. He has trained with Dr. Robert Adrian at the Center for Laser Surgery, Washington, D.C., Dr. David Vasily, Bethlehem, PA, Dr. Michelle Palmer, Del Ray Beach, FL, and has taken the management course at The
Preston Wynne Spa, Saratoga, CA.
He attends the national conferences of the Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology as well as the Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
